1. “Parliament is not the sole source of new law”. Discuss with reference to the delegated legislation in the U.K. In your answer, among other things, highlight safeguards that have been developed against the abuse of delegated powers.

2. Critically examine measures that have been taken to correct the imbalance of powers between the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

3. Define Federation and examine if U.S.S.R is a Federation in true sense the term.

8. Under the French Constitution “the Presidency has been exalted at the expense of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet”. Comment.
