Q.1- Phosphorus availability is observed to be low in alkaline calcareous soils. Describe its possible causes and also mention different management practices to improve it. (20)

Q.2- Discovery of BT crops has given a new avenue for research emphasis. Besides it has given rise to acceptability issues by farming community. What is your perception about Transgenic crops and their future prospects. (20)

Q.3- What is the role of natural enemies in Insect Pest Management Programs? Explain the biotic and abiotic factors responsible for their development and participation in Pest Management. (20)

Q.4- Tunnel farming an important practice for getting out of seasons vegetables is not much popular among local farmers. Suggest measures to promote tunnel farming among farming community. (20)

Q.5- The situation of water availability is likely to pose a threat to our agriculture in near future. Give suggestions to meet this challenge and also mention different options of growing crops with less water requirements.. (20)

Q.6- To meet the food needs of ever increasing number of population we need to further enhance the crop productivity. Discuss how we can bring about another green revolution in order to face the challenges of food security issues. (20)
