Section-B

  1. What is lens? What are its uses to mankind?

  2. In what different ways do living beings maintain their body temperature? What is hibernation?

  3. Describe how either paper or sugar is manufactured.

  4. What food would give to any TWO of the following, and why:

  6. “The world is shrinking and Universe expanding. Explain.

  7. What first-aid would you apply in the following cases: (i) Burns, (ii) Drowning, (iii) Snakebite, and (iv) Bleeding.

Section-C

  1. How do living beings and their environments react on each other? Illustrate your answer. What is protective colouration’?

  2. What are the Medical System’ you know of? Briefly describe the basic ideas of any one of them.

  3. Why is space soundless? Why is the sky black as seen during space flight?

  4. How are chemical changes brought about? Describe any one chemical reaction.
