SECTION-A
Q No 1 What is the First Information Report? Discuss its essentials and distinguish it from Complaint. (30)
Q No 2 Define a complaint and discuss its essential. Give a critical analysis of the procedure of making complaints to Magistrates under the provisions of Criminal Procedural Code of Pakistan, 1898. (30)
Q No 3 What are the powers available under the Criminal Procedural Code for Police concerning the prevention of cognizable offences? Explain with illustrations. (30)
Q No 4 Analyze the provisions of Criminal Procedural Code dealing with taking of bail in cases of non-bailable offences. (30)
Q No 5 Discuss the procedure related to issuance of commission for examination of witnesses. Also write the procedure to be adopted by a Magistrate who thinks it necessary to issue a commission to this end. (30)
Q No 6 What is a charge? What is its form and what particulars it contains? Also explain its essentials and legal effect. (30)

Q No 7 What is criminal conspiracy? State its different forms and provide its punishment. (30)
Q No 8 When shall an act amount to be committed in furtherance of Common Intention and when an act shall amount to be committed in Prosecution of Common Object? Explain in light of the relevant provisions of PPC. (30)
SECTION-C
Q No 9 Hearsay evidence is not admissible. Discuss all the reasons making hearsay evidence inadmissible and also discuss the exceptions to this general rule, if any. (30)
Q No 10 Evaluate the Relevancy of the Opinion of Third Persons during a trial in accordance with the provisions of Qanun-e-Shahadat Order, 1984. (30)
