Q. No. 5. Discuss the challenges faced by Jews in the middle ages and critically evaluate reinterpretation of Jewish religious thought by Saadiah Gaon and Moses Maimonides as a response to that. (20)
Q. No. 6. One of the sources of Christian theology is reason. Discuss and evaluate the role of reason and its relationship with revelation which it had in various historical phases of Christian thought. (20)
Q. No. 7. How does Buddha look on permanent Self, Atman, or idea of “I”? How does dukkha arise and how can it be eliminated? (20)
Q. No. 8. There are exemplary and significant teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) for the underprivileged segments, socially or economically, of the society which can help in bringing harmony in the society. Write a comprehensive note on it and how is it applicable in today’s modern world in your opinion. (20)
