The cultural heritage of Balochistan does not limit itself to the mounds and ruins of Mehrgarh, as the pre-historic religious Shrines, Karezes, tombs and villages perceives another chapter of ancient Balochistan. The prominent village system has its origin from the plains of Balochistan which later ultimately transferred throughout the Sindh and Punjab. Unfortunately, the antique objects and sites could not withstand with problem of heavy rains and floods which demolished their entity. In the same manner, most of the Baloch and foreign historians are totally agree on the point that the lack of research and inadequate attention from the international community exerted desperate consequences on the cultural heritage of Balochistan.
