2 How does the British Constitution guarantee “freedom of speech and expression and “freedom to form association”? Discuss.

3 The powers of the American Senate regarding “ratification of treaties” and approval of major appointments made by the President” are more
of an encroachment rather than a check on the executive powers of the President. What are your views? Discuss.

4 The French President enjoys certain advantages which place him in a more comfortable and perhaps a more powerful position than his counterpart in the U.S.A. Comment

5 How is the President of India elected? Considering his powers under the constitution, would you agree that his Constitutional Status is like that of the British Monarch? Discuss.

6 How far would you subscribe to the view that a strict federal principle is missing from the Indian Constitution? Discuss.

7 Subject to what conditions and limitations may the Parliament of Pakistan assume the power to make laws regarding matters within the exclusive competence of a provincial legislature? Explain.

8 The President of Pakistan may not remove a judge of the Supreme Court or of a High Court except when the Supreme Judicial Council has recommended his removal after inquiry. This appears to be a more sensible approach than subjecting a Superior Court judge to impeachment or a similar process as in the Constitutions of USA and
India. What are you views? Discuss referring briefly to the procedure for removal of judges in Pakistan, India and US.
