3 Which method of yield regulation would you use in the temperate coniferous forests? Why? Describe it.

4 Describe the selection system as applied in the temperate coniferous forests of Pakistan. Why is it preferred over other systems in this situation? What are its effects?

5 What are the most important factors causing forests depletion in Pakistan? How would you proceed to counter them?

6 What is forest policy? How would you proceed to evolve it for your province/area? How would you ensure its implementation, monitoring and evaluation?

7 What is biological diversity? Why is it important? What approaches would you use to foster it?

8 Why has range management not been widely adopted all over Pakistan? What would you do to overcome the short-comings in our current approaches to the management of grazing lands?
