Q. No. 1: What are the latest techniques for estimating the nutritive value of feedstuffs? Enlist all equipment used, elaborating the principles and methodology of two such equipments. (20 Marks)

b) How will you determine the nutritive value of Soybean meal?

Q. No. 4: Do you think that Pakistan Poultry Industry (PPI) can be quoted as a reference for other developing countries? What could be the salient features of PPI to be copied by others?
Q. No. 5: What are the advantages of silage feeding? Which crop is considered the best and why? Describe different stages and processes of silage making.
Q. No. 6: Small ruminants are generally raised by nomads. Suggest measures to increase their production performance.
Q. No. 7: As an expert in Animal Breeding, how would you proceed for genetic improvement in a sheep flock as a meat animal?
Q. No. 8: Which criteria should be adopted while selecting the superior animal? How can the traits of such animals be transferred in next generation?
