Q-1. Define Tafseer BILMA’SUR (تفسير بالماثور ), name its different kinds and write in detail on Tafseer Ibni Kaseer (تفسير ابن كثير ).

Q-2. The revelation of Holy Quran gave new dimensions and depth to the Arabic language and literature. Discuss.

Q-3. Discuss the role of Hazrat Umar Bin Abdul Aziz in the compilation of Hadith and explain main features of Jami Tirmizee (جامع ترمذى ).

Q-4. Distinguish between MU’ALLAQAT (معلقات ) and JAMHARIYAT (جمهريات ). Explain MU’ALLAQA AMRO BIN KULSOOM (عمرو بن كلثوم ) and point out its attributes.

Q-5. The speeches of Qis ibni Sa’aida (قس ابن ساعده ) is the glorious specimen of Arabic prose. Comment on these speeches.

Q-6. Evaluate ancient Arabic literature versus modern Arabic literature by giving examples from prose and poetry. Which one stands suitable to this era?

Q-7. Comment on the poetry of Hazrat Hassan bin Sabit (حضرت حسان بن ثابت ) and on His “Diwan-i-Hassan bin Sabit”. What title did he receive from the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H)?
