Q-4. Explain News values in the light of different definitions of News (at least four). Also draw a definition of news in your own words containing maximum News values.

Q-7. What are different categories of Journalism in terms of Quality and Standards? What characteristics each category has? Give examples from Pakistani News papers.
Q-8. Which Codes of Ethics are being observed by Press in Pakistan? What are their major principles?
Q-9. Beat of a reporter determines his/her sources of news. How? Explain with the help of different Beats of Reporting and their relevant sources.
Q-10. What qualities must one possess to become a successful Sub-editor? Discuss with reference to the professional responsibilities of a sub-editor.
