In case you succeed in your effort, in what specific ways will you like this newly generated capital and intellect to serve the cause of wildlife promotion in the country. (20)

Q 2. How will you estimate the age, height and DEH (Diameter at Breast Height) of individual tree? Explain forest inventory methods used in Pakistan. (20)

Q 3. Discuss different Forest types of Pakistan w.r.t flora, fauna, climatic factors and distribution. (20)

Q 4. What do you understand by a National Park? Enlist all the national park of Pakistan with their distribution and reason of declaring as National Park. (20)

Q 5. Under present climatic change scenario in Pakistan, there is an important role of watershed of Kaghan and Naran in KPK. How could we proceed for their management in relation to flood control? Discuss briefly.

Q 6. What are the range lands? Explain principles of Range Management and how Government of KPK can proceed to establish and promote commercial ranching in sub alpine regions of Pakistan? (20)

Q 7. Define Silviculture. Enlist different Silvicultural system of forest management. Explain under which Silvicultural system the moist temperate forest of Pakistan are managed and why? (20)

Q 8. What is Survey? Explain types of survey? Why survey is needed in forestry? Explain Triangulation method in Chain Survey. (20)
