(A) Elite domination of public opinion. (B) Ethnic conflicts and Sectarian divide. (C) Growing Polarization between Political Elites.
02 Explain the logic behind US – Pakistan relations? Do you believe that maintaining balance in its relationship with China and USA has become one of the complicated challenges faced by Pakistan in the wake of increasing Indian atrocities in Kashmir.
03 Evaluate the importance of new legislation to counter money laundering and terrorist financing as required by Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
04 Write short notes on the following: (i) Globalization and Developing countries (ii) Pakistan’s Policy of neutrality (iii) Balance of Power (iv) Cold War.
05 How strongly you agree or disagree that, “The 20th century political structures and International Institutions to consolidate nation state system are drowning in the
21st Century’s ocean of decentralized economic and Financial Markets, autonomous technologies, religious populism and the rise of great-power rivalries”?
06 Provide a detailed account of the Neo-Neo debate. What are the similarities and dissimilarities between the two? Also discuss the impact of globalization on the neorealist and neo-liberal thinking?
07 Has nationalism been the most common cause of conflict in the post-Cold War era? Accordingly, point out the reasons for the rise of populism and anti-globalization wave in this regard.
08 What are the challenges of security in infrastructure diplomacy? Critically evaluate the Belt and the Road Initiative as an example of infrastructure diplomacy and identify geo-strategic and geo-political issues surfacing in territories encompassed by the BRI.
