01 Present the sketch of Global Political Landscape in COVID-19 times. Do you believe the contemporary international system is withering away from stability, conformity and continuity it enjoyed in recent past? Also suggest mechanism to overcome the global leadership crisis.
02 Explore the normative impulses in Pakistan’s Foreign Policy with particular reference to Kashmir? Critically identity the pitfalls of this approach and suggest practical measures to be taken for pragmatism in National Foreign Policy.
03 Write shorts notes on any Two of the following:
(i) Regionalism vs Globalism in 21st Century. (ii) External Shock and Power Shift in IR. (iii) Implications of Brexit on Pakistan’s Economy.
04 Do you agree that China does not want a protracted conflict near a key belt of its ambitious project of economic connectivity? How do you see the importance of Pakistan’s role in Afghan peace process for achieving its geo-economic interests through China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
05 “Regional Cooperation is considered key to National Development. Economic, social and cultural linkages are imperative for peace between countries divided by Geographical
Boundaries”. Discuss the reasons for dormant nature of SAARC as a regional block of South Asian Countries in the light of above statement.
06 Explain any Two of the following:
(i) International Condemnation of Human Rights Violation in Kashmir
(ii) Isolation of India in the World on the issue of State-sponsored violence against Muslim communities.
(iii) Economic and Social Impact of Pakistan’s War on Terrorism.
07 Discuss the role of United Nations in maintaining peace in the World. Suggest the structural reforms for its further improvement and effectiveness.
08 Pakistan has remained committed to nuclear safety and this country is ahead of India in the field of nuclear security. Discuss the Pakistan’s protocols for ensuring protection of nuclear sites.
