02 Examine the importance of Central Asian region with particular reference to “New Great Game”. Also identify and analyze major challenges/problems, which you think, may cause intra-region political and economic instability in Central Asia?
03 Arms race and Nuclear weapons thought characterized the cold war era yet both the power blocs‟ averted direct confrontation. Comment the role of “Balance of Terror” in this aversion?
04 Analyze the growing Sino-US rivalry in the South-China Sea region.
05 The European powers are considered to have introduced state secularism through the Westphalian Nation State system, however the contemporary policies reflecting Islamophobia seems to be contradictory. What in your opinion needs to be done to strengthen the Westphalian system?
06 Terrorism is a relative term: “One man’s terrorism is another man’s freedom fighting”. Analyze various factors behind this relativity of the term, and in what ways terrorism be countered at the domestic, regional and international levels.
07 Differentiate between globalism and regionalism? Highlight the prospects and challenges of regionalism in South Asia in the aftermath of failure of SAARC.
08 Analyze the impact of India’s action of revoking Article 370 and 35-A in its Constitution in August 2019 on the nature of the Kashmir conflict.
